We had a nice and early flight to Arcadia, CA. Luckily it was a direct flight and with the time change we landed in CA at 9:30am. Upon landing, we went to pick up our rental car. After waiting in line for 30 mins, we found out there was a slash in one of our tires and we needed to swap cars. After an hour, we finally were leaving with a decent Chevy Malibu.

We picked up some Hawaiian BBQ along our 1 hour drive to our friend’s apartment in Fontana, CA. After our exhausting morning, we opted to take an hour nap before attempting to practice. Later in the evening, we drove 40 minutes to practice at the tournament site, iArcadia Tennis. The tennis courts have a beautiful backdrop and are located in a very peaceful park.

After practicing for about 1.5 hours, we hit Aldi on our way home to pickup some groceries. We plan on eating most meals at home in order to save money. Once we made it home, we were ready to call it a day. We popped a quick and easy pizza into the oven and ended the day with watching an episode of Sweet Magnolias.
